ROSÉ is explaining exactly why love is messy as she takes fans on a spin in her new song for the F1 soundtrack.
The BLACKPINK star dropped her latest song "Messy" on Thursday (May 8), her first release since her 2024 debut solo album Rosie. In the emotional, piano-driven anthem, ROSÉ sings, "So, baby, let's get messy, let's get all the way undone. Come over, undress me just like I've never been touched. Baby, I'm obsessed with you and there's no replica. Maybe if it's messy... then you know it's really love."
In addition to the track, ROSÉ shared an accompanying music video with visuals featuring shots from the upcoming film F1 interspersed with scenes of the singer strutting through city streets at night, overlooking crowds from a high-rise balcony, and sparkling in an empty blue-lit room surrounded by confetti floating in the air.
"Messy" will be featured on the F1 soundtrack, out the same day as the film on June 27. The film, starring Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem and Damson Idris, follows a former racing legend who comes out of retirement to help a struggling Formula 1 team and mentor a young driver, according to Apple TV+.
