Taylor Swift Gives A Shoutout To Joe Alwyn During Historic 2021 Grammy Win

Taylor Swift bested the competition on Sunday night (March 14) when the pop titan took home the Album of the Year honor for folklore during the 63rd annual Grammy Awards.

As always, the award was given out towards the end of the ceremony, which showed love to the various music venues across the country that were hit hard by the pandemic. "I want to thank all of my collaborators who are on the stage," Swift said at the outdoor podium, alongside Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, before giving her boyfriend Joe Alwyn a shoutout. "Joe, who is the first person that I play every single song I write. I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine."

Swift went on to share gratitude for her Swifties. "But mostly, we just want to thank the fans. You guys met us in this imaginary world that we created and we can't tell you how honored we are forever by this. Thank you so much. And thank you to the Recording Academy, we will never forget that you did this for us."

folklore beat out a stacked list of blockbuster titles, including Chilombo (Jhené Aiko), Black Pumas (Black Pumas), Everyday Life (Coldplay), Djesse Vol. 3 (Jacob Collier), Women In Music Pt. III (Haim), Future Nostalgia (Dua Lipa) and Hollywood's Bleeding (Post Malone). She is now the first woman to win the Grammy for Album of the Year three times, tying a record set by Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra and Paul Simon.
